The Tönnies lab is used for clinical testing of the ocular and vestibular systems, as well as basic research. The single axis rotating chair, and the optokinetic drum, can rotate at up to 400 °/s, providing powerful vestibular and optokinetic stimuli. Eye movements are measured with an EyeSeeCam video oculography system.
